I built this workbook for the moment when a clean spreadsheet meets a messy field observation. It keeps the power reference, bandwidth, losses, margins and evidence boundary visible on the same job.

01 / The review problem
The arithmetic is rarely the hardest part.
A budget can look complete while hiding the one assumption that makes its result impossible to defend: carrier power used as reference-signal power, carrier bandwidth used as every receiver bandwidth, or a margin copied from an older project without provenance.
My working rule is simple. If the signal, reference bandwidth or power reference is missing, I report the gap before I report the margin.
- Name the channel. LTE RSRP, NR SSB, PDSCH, PUSCH and PUCCH are not interchangeable accounting objects.
- Freeze the assumptions. Every gain, feeder loss, penetration loss and margin remains visible.
- Calculate deterministically. EIRP, thermal noise, sensitivity, MAPL and remaining margin follow the declared contract.
- Compare without overclaiming. A HiCellTek frame can challenge an assumption. It cannot invent missing network-side evidence.
